What We Do

We care about your privacy and want you to understand what we are accessing and how we use it. We are only using your data as follows:

  • Portfolio: Obtain your current portfolio which includes the quantity of each stock/option that you own as well as the cost basis for that investment. This also includes dividends and other basic information about your portfolio.
  • Bank transfers: We will obtain a listing of all bank deposits/withdrawls for all time. This is used in calculating your rate of return.
  • Trades + History: To show you what type of trades you execute most frequently and create a trader profile we will pull a listing of trades that you have executed for the last year.

How We Protect You

We never store your credentials or any secrets related to your account. Your user information is used only once during the process of creating your portfolio and not after that. All data and analysis is persisted for the purposes of showing you the portfolio but is not stored along any identifiable information. If requested any and all information can be securely deleted. All data that is stored is encrypted using strong AES-256 encryption using industry best practices. When data is transferred between systems it is always encrypted.

Access to your data is limited to specific personnel all of whom have the approval to access the data in order to solve client requests, issues or bugs. The data you share is private and confidential so we’ve set strict access controls so your data is never seen by anyone who should not see it.

We never share any information with third parties for advertising or any other purpose. All data resides on systems that are dedicated to the Savvy Egg and are not shared with any third party.
